We had the fall festival at church Thursday night. We had fun. Here are a couple of pics of Angie and Heather. Heather was excited. She won 2 cakes on the cake walk!!!
This is a picture of all 8 of the Bostick Grandchildren: Back row(left to right) Curtis Herron, Neal Bostick, Shelby Bostick, Wesley Bostick Front row (left to right) Rachel Bostick, Heather Bostick, Joe Bostick and Nathan Bostick
Rachel will kill me for this if she sees it but I couldn't resist. This is her in her element with her favorite things. Her favorite spot on the couch, her favorite old Miami Dolphin t-shirt,
Each elementary class at New Hope elects one person each 9weeks as their Star Student. The 1st 9 weeks in Mrs. Vickers class Heather was chosen for the award. She was soooo excited. They were given a certificate and a pizza lunch that I was invited to attend. We're so proud of her!
Rachel got to see the Eiffel Tower up close and personal when she went with her high school French class to Paris France in March. Here is a shot of it at night. I will try to
post some other pictures she took in the next few days while she was there. She says it was fun but you don't know how glad you are to live in the United States of America until you leave it!
Rachel had some non-karate friends over at the house and she was demonstrating some of her karate moves. I love the extension she has with her leg. She got in trouble when she showed the picture to her karate instructor though. Not for picking on an inexperienced person but for not following good form and keeping her hands up!!!! Oh well!!!
We caught a thief stealing sunflower seeds out of the bird feeder yesterday. I missed the shot where he was hanging upside down from the feeder stealing the seed. Maybe I can get it later.
Heather got to go to her 1st MSU football game Saturday night and she was so excited. She made sure she showed her team spirit and had on her MSU t-shirt, cap, flip-flops and of course you can't forget the cow bell!!! Go Dawgs!!!
Heath's dad has been diagnosed with cancer. Please be in prayer for him and the whole Bostick family. It is just a question of how much time with have left with him. God will see us through and with your prayers I know it will help us bear it. Thank you.
***Heath's dad will be going to see the cancer doctor tomorrow. He will be giving him a time line of how much time he has. Please continue to keep him in your prayers.
This is a picture of my dad and his sister Joan. Joan will
be having back surgery tomorrow and I am just asking everyone to be in prayer for her and her doctors that all goes well. Many of you know she has had alot of back problems over the last few years and while this surgery is in a different spot and they said she should get relief the idea of surgery is never a fun one. Please keep her in your prayers and I will follow-up when I know more. Thanks.
*** Joan's surgery went well. She is sore but the pain she has endured the last 3 weeks or so is gone. She was very happy when I spoke with her on the phone.
Chester is the newest addition to our cat family. He is so handsome. He has long hair and such a funny personality. He is the biggest of our five but bless his heart he is also the most graceless! He misses his jumps onto the furniture and I've even seen him hit a door facing head on! Oh well, we still love him.
Our animals are an important part of our lives at our house. Here is Heather with our german shepherd Bluebelle. She is 8 years old. When Heather goes anywhere Blue is right with her.
My brother-in-law says he can always tell if Heather is at his house when he comes home because Blue is outside his door waiting on her. She is a great girl!
We see these birds all the time down at the tressle but seldom out in the middle of the driveway. We came home from school the other day and there it was. It was funny to get that close to one. It was soooo tall and skinny.
I just ask you all be in prayer for the students, teachers and faculty at New Hope High School. There have been issues all week with fights and rumors of shootings and so forth. Even this morning many of the students have checked out for fear of this. The school has added extra security and even had the students go through metal detecters this morning but the fear is still there.
This was one of three kittens that a mother cat gifted my mother with on her birthday. She has now found a forever home but we enjoyed our time with her.

I was in the garden this morning. Peas are coming in and thought this was a pretty sight. Thought I'd share..........
When we visited my Aunt Joan we went to the Bass Pro Shop in Prattville, Alabama and Heather couldn'e resist having her picture made in front of the bear. Don't think she would be so brave if she had run across this one in the woods!!!
I was headed out to the garden early the other morning and the dew had fallen on this spiderweb and I thought it was a very pretty sight. Thought I'd share.
We were able to go to Gulfworld during our Panama City Beach Vacation last summer and Heather was able to shake "hands" with a dolphin! She loved it!!! She said it felt like rubber!
I am very blessed. I have a wonderful husband and 2 beautiful daughters. I love to see what I can create. This blog is my newest creation. I love my family. I love scrapbooking, photgraphy and geneology and this is a great way to share it all!!
